Setting Tool
The Setting Tools
provide a physical connection between the Running Tool and the Liner System in conjunction with the corresponding Setting Tool profile in a Setting Sleeve or a Liner Top Packer.
Setting Tool, mechanic release with mechanical lock and rotation option
The "Setting Tool, mechanic release with mechanical lock and rotation option" is able to run, set, release and cement liner
systems. It provides a special wedged screw with left-hand threads which can be
set into the Setting Tool profile in the Setting Sleeve or the Liner Top Packer to run the Liner. Before setting the Liner Hanger a tooth profile allows
right-hand rotation during run-in-hole operation. In order to release the
Setting Tool after setting a downward force is required to deactivate the
mechanical lock system. Once the mechanical lock is deactivated, right-hand
rotation will release the screw from the Setting Tool profile and the Setting
Tool can be pulled out. If needed, the Setting Tool provides a rotation
possibility for the Liner system for cementing operations.
S-Setting Tool, mechanic release
The "S-Setting Tool, mechanic release" is able to run, set, release and cement liner systems. It provides a special wedged screw with left-hand threads which can be set into the Setting Tool profile in the Setting Sleeve or the Liner Top Packer for running the Liner. This Setting Tool can be released by right-hand rotation after setting operations. A special bearing provides easy rotational release.

The "Setting Tool, mechanic release with hydraulic lock and rotation option" is able to run, set, release and cement liner systems.
It provides a special wedged screw with left-hand threads which can be set into
the Setting Tool profile in the Setting Sleeve or the Liner Top Packer to run
the Liner. Before setting the Liner Hanger a tooth profile allows right-hand
rotation during run-in-hole operation. In order to release the Setting Tool
after setting a defined inner pressure is required to deactivate the hydraulic
lock system. Once the hydraulic lock is deactivated, right-hand rotation will
release the screw from the Setting Tool profile and the Setting Tool can be
pulled out. If needed, the Setting Tool provides a rotation possibility for the
Liner system for cementing operations. An optional safety
release can be installed upon request.

The "Setting Tool, hydraulic release with mechanic emergency release and rotation option". It provides a
special collet system which can be
set into the Setting Tool profile in the Setting Sleeve or the Liner Top Packer to run the Liner. Before setting the Liner Hanger a tooth profile allows
right-hand rotation during run-in-hole operation. Further, the Liner can be
pushed or pulled. When releasing the Setting Tool after setting, a ball will be
dropped into the ball seat to build up a defined inner pressure which is
required to activate the hydraulic chamber. In conjunction with a compression
force the collet is pulled out of the
Setting Tool profile. A second emergency release is provided by left-hand
backup release. If needed the Setting Tool provides a rotation possibility for
the Liner system for cementing operations.
