Cup Tool
The Cup Tool consists
of multiple elastomeric seal elements (Swab Cups), followed by supporting
CRA-Stop-Rings. It is typically used
for non-cementing systems, to build up pressure between the Bypass Ballseat and the retrievable/drillable Pack off Bushing for hydraulic activation or for
running tie back systems.
For Bottom Set Tie
Back Packer system the Cup Tool prevents
an internal back flow of the mud during run in hole.
